6 Steps To Finish The Year Strong In Your Avon Business
We are already in mid-November. Soon, we will bid farewell to 2022. Are you tracking to finish the year strong in your Avon business?
We’ve worked hard and accomplished everything we’ve set out to, and are about to end the year victoriously. Or, are we?
Have you accomplished everything you wanted to do this year? Have you achieved all your New Year’s resolutions that you made last January?
If not, it’s not too late.
Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

You Can Still Finish the Year Strong if you Choose
The good news is that it doesn’t matter how we started, or even where we are at now.
What matters now is how we finish.
Everyone starts the year strong. They are excited for the New Year and ready to do great things. But over the course of the year, much of the initial buzz can sometimes wear off.
No matter what it is that we set out to accomplish, we will at some point hit that place where the actions that were once so fresh and stimulating become routine, boring, and monotonous.
Life starts to take over, and sometimes you don’t realize that you’ve slowed down.
Now is the Time to Make Sure you will Finish the Year Strong
With only a couple of weeks left in the year, now is a great time to take stock of where you are, what the gaps are, and make the necessary adjustments to end your year strong.
A lot has happened over the past 11 months – both good and bad.
Don’t focus on the reasons you’ve missed some goals. Instead, focus on what you can do over the next couple of weeks to finish strong, and be on track for a great new year.
Here are Six Steps to Help you Achieve your Goals Before the Year Is Over.
1. Acknowledge Where You Are And How You’ve Changed.
You’re not the same person you were in January when you made those goals. Make sure they are still what you want out of this year based on where you are now and where you are headed.
Eliminate any goals that you adopted to please someone else, or because you thought you should.
You’ve lived a lot of life in the past 11 months. It’s totally okay to reevaluate your priorities.
You may find some of your original goals are no longer important to you, while you’ve developed other goals that are very important now.
2. Forgive Yourself if necessary.
Life is not simple and things get in the way. Don’t waste any time in self-recrimination or beating yourself up. Once you’ve acknowledged where you are and what hasn’t worked, now it’s all about moving on.
If you haven’t made the progress you intended so far this year, admit to yourself that you screwed up, or you lost your focus, and then give yourself another shot – no drama.
3. Consider the possibilities.
Sit down and strategize on an action plan and possible scenarios. What can you do to end your business on a high note? Just sit and brainstorm, coming up with as many ideas as you can. Then you can settle on the ones that work for you.
4. Focus on the critical items to get done in the next 2-3 weeks.
It’s important to prioritize the most essential tasks that must be completed.
Are you working towards President’s Club – now is the time to make sure that happens.
If you’re in Avon Leadership, maybe you’re working toward a promotion, or getting your team numbers up before the year ends. That would also be a priority at this time.
Maybe you just have a goal to make sure all your customer’s orders get delivered before Christmas.
Clearly lay out an action plan to make those critical things happen before the end of the year.
5. Remove any obstacles in the way.
Streamline the work process to provide the quickest, most effective results. There’s no time for extra steps anymore.
Do you need to get someone (maybe your kids or family members) to help you achieve those goals?
6. Focus on action, action, action.
To really make a difference in the little bit of time we have left in the year, you must immediately get into action. Spend your energy doing the actions that focus on speed and results.
Action is critical at this point. It doesn’t matter what happened the rest of the year. You can still end 2021 on a positive note if you choose to. Remember, it’s your responsibility to make it happen.
Holidays are Meant for Enjoyment
But you’ll enjoy them much more when you have the satisfaction of knowing that you’re going to end the year with gusto.
Give it your all in the next couple of weeks, and you’ll be able to finish this year on a high and face 2022 on your feet ready to really take charge of your business!
