7 Tips For Making Your Big Dream Into A Reality
Many of us have a big dream to be successful in our Avon business.
We’re all hoping for the day that we can say something like, “I made it big!”
But taking the chance on a big dream can be intimidating.
Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.
We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.
The Daily 8 system is a proven formula
When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.
Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.
Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.
The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!
It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About Making Your Big Dream Into A Reality
It can be intimidating to take the chance on a big dream.
But I know you.
You’re a doer, an innovator, a game-changer with unique passions and big dreams.
That’s totally awesome…except when the thought of achieving your goals feels totally overwhelming.
But no worries — you’ve got this.
No matter how daunting your dreams feel, nothing is too big to achieve.
Here are seven tips for making it happen!
1 – Say, “I Know I Can!”
Remember the story about the train which made it because it kept saying, “I think I can. I know I can”?
It may seem silly, but that’s about to be your new mantra.
To dream big, you have to believe in yourself.
And that’s easier when you are your own cheerleader when necessary.
Come up with your personal motivating mantra to use when things feel bleak.
2 – Take it Day by Day
It’s essential to have a clear vision of the big picture, but if you focus only on that, it can get overwhelming.
Break down your tasks to small ones you can accomplish daily so that you are always chipping away at your goals.
3 – Say it Out Loud
When you’re really committed to something, you must verbalize it to gain accountability and support.
Make sure to share only with those people in your life who will understand and support you.
It’s a good idea to find a support group of like-minded go-getters too.
You’ll learn from one another and gain the support and accountability to make your dream a reality!
4 – Not “If,” But “When”
You’re shooting for a new job, so you say, “If I get a job…” Or you want to write a book, so you tell your friends, “If I ever write that book…”
When you catch yourself, swap that “if” for a “when.”
Tell yourself that it will happen—it’s just a matter of time.
5 – Set Aside Time
How in the world will you start working on your dream if you’re overbooked and have no time?
Be sure to set aside time for your big goals, including the time to make a plan and track it.
Block time out in your calendar to work your business.
If you feel like you don’t have the time, start paying attention to all the ways you waste time that you could be using to make your dream happen.
6 – Stay Motivated
It’s easier said than done, but one of the most important aspects of dream-chasing is keeping up your motivation.
Inevitably, there will be good days and bad days.
People will drag you down, and sometimes you’ll get bad news about your goals.
But no matter what, you can’t let that derail you from your dreams.
Have a list of things that motivate you so you can go to it when you need it.
7 – Free Your Mind of Disappointment
You may feel let down every once and a while, but don’t get too disappointed.
Getting wrapped up in negativity or rejection will shift your attitude, and you won’t perform your very best.
Keep up the positivity!
Dare to Dream Big
All of life’s excitement and growth comes from knowing how to dream big — and making big dreams a reality.
It’s having that big dream and taking the actions to achieve it that will help you have the most successful Avon business ever! Or, for that matter, anything else you want to accomplish as well.
If you hold yourself back you will rob countless people of the goodness and joy and healing and growth that only your unique contributions can offer.
Because you know what? No one ever changed the world without in some way, dreaming big.
Take the First Steps
Often, taking the first step is the hardest part. But truly, it doesn’t have to be.
Think about what the smallest step you could take to launch your dream and explode your Avon business might be.
Is it as simple as learning what needs to be done? Maybe spend some time on the Getting Started page of this blog. Or maybe it’s taking classes in Avon U.
Maybe it’s setting up systems to help you be successful? Once systems are in place, it’s much easier to really grow your business.
Whatever that first step is, decide what your timeline is, start to gather your momentum, and do it with determination.
Just get started. Take action every day towards your dreams. I can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year!
