Allow Limitations To Be A Thing Of The Past So You Can Achieve Success
Starting your own business is a difficult task, and your limitations can get in your way.
And sometimes, you will run into situations where your limitations are inhibiting you from moving forward.
Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.
We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.
The Daily 8 system is a proven formula
When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.
Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.
Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.
Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.
The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!
It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About Getting Past Your Limitations
As you’re working to grow your Avon business, you will likely run into limitations.
These limitations could be a variety of things, from a lack of money or time to a certain underdeveloped skill set.
This can be frustrating, but there are ways for you to work around these limitations and get them out of your way.
You may not be carefully examining all of your options.
Maybe Your Limitation Is Money
For example, if you needed a particular program to do some of your work, but it cost too much for you to purchase, you would think that you’re stuck.
But there are ways around this type of obstacle.
There are often free versions of programs or free alternatives that you can use until you have the money together to afford the version you wanted.
For example, if you’re looking to create images for social media, Photoshop can be a bit pricey.
But there are free alternatives available that can do many of the same things.
It may not be perfect, but it’s definitely better than nothing and it can provide you with a foundation to work off of.
In fact, for images to promote your Avon business, I have found that Canva is much easier to use. They have a free version, and a paid version.
You can do a LOT with the Free version. It might be all you need to create the images you want.
But for me, the paid version is pretty inexpensive, and not even a question in my mind because it does so much and makes my work load so much easier.
Maybe Your Limitation Is Time
When it comes to the limitation of time, you may have to start cutting out things in your life that you enjoy doing.
Look carefully at your own schedule and how you allocate your time.
You might be spending a lot of free time watching TV or engaging in other activities, and you might have to temporarily cut those out in order to get the ball rolling.
This doesn’t mean that you’ll never relax again, for sure…
But in the early formative stages of a business, there’s not much room for recreation.
In fact, you might even have to lose out on some sleep if you want to really get things going.
Obviously, scheduling several hours a day to work your business is ideal.
But keep in mind, though, that you don’t need large blocks of time to work your business.
Be sure to implement systems to help you make the most of the time you do have.
But keep in mind that there are also little pockets in your day when you can get some things accomplished.
Make sure you block out time in your calendar for the times you will focus on your business.
Each of us has different amounts of time to spend on our business, but nothing will get done consistently unless it is blocked out on your calendar.
Put everything on your calendar. Everything! Business, personal, kids, parents – anything that you need to be included in, have it all in one calendar.
This will help you keep track of your responsibilities, but also helps you to see if you’re over-committed.
Be ambitious but be realistic about what you can actually accomplish in a day.
Also keep in mind those little pockets of your day when you can slip a little business building in – such as the 15 minutes you’re waiting outside to pick up your child, or while waiting at the dentist.
You could easily fit 1-2 calls into that time. 🙂
Maybe Your Limitation Is Skill Set
Finally, there’s the limitation of skill sets.
You will no doubt encounter a situation in which you’re poorly equipped to deal with the task at hand due to a lack of certain skills.
Don’t let that worry you. None of us are born knowing how to do everything, and every one of us has to constantly learn how to do new things.
There are many options available for learning new skills.
You could ask somebody that you know who does have experience in that area and who might be willing to share some of their knowledge with you.
You can take Avon U courses on AvonNow.com to learn how to build your business.
And don’t forget Avon’s Official Avon Representative Social Selling Facebook Group.
You’ll find lots of training on our OnlineBeautyBiz.com Blog (If you are new, be sure to click on Getting Started at the top of the page) and in our Facebook Group.
You could also find free or paid online courses that you can learn from.
But whatever training you find, be sure to take the time to properly learn it.
Many people will watch and online course and quickly apply the skills they just learned, only to promptly forget about it.
Or they’ll take the courses or watch the videos, learn the information, but never put it into action.
Knowledge without action will never help you. Action will help you become good at what you just learned.
In order to avoid these problems in the future, make sure you get a firm grasp on that information.
You’ve Got This!
Despite the bumps and bruises that you may encounter throughout your Avon journey, you must adhere to one requirement… you must be willing to take the journey and commit to learning along the way.
As you progress through the journey of achieving your dreams, you will be able to clearly realize that the most difficult limitations and circumstances actually served as necessary tools that helped you become a better version of yourself.
Ultimately, you want to be able to confidently proclaim that no limitation or obstacle will define you or deter you from your path to achieving greatness!
If you can remove your self-doubt and believe in yourself, you can achieve what you never thought possible.
And I can’t wait to see where your Avon business takes you!
