Create A Blog Broadcast For Your Blog Using AWeber

Once you have your website setup, and have setup your autoresponder, you might want to create a Blog Broadcast.

A Blog Broadcast will automatically send an email to your list whenever you have a new post. If you’re receiving training emails from me, the Blog Broadcast is what you’re receiving.

I use this for training emails on my training blogs, and I use it for customers/prospects on my business blog. It works for any blog that you want to get the word out that you have a new blog post.

First off, if you don’t already have an AWeber Email List Account, you can get one here.

It’s actually very easy to setup.

Log into your AWeber Account and choose your List if you have more than one.

Click on Messages, and then on Blog Broadcasts.

Now you will need to enter your Feed URL. Most of the time it is yourdomain/feed. So you’ll see in my case it’s http://OnlineBeautyBiz.com/feed. Replace my domain with yours.

Then you’ll want to choose a template. I always use the Basic Plain Template. It gives a nice crisp look. I suggest you choose this one for now. You can always go back and make it fancy if you want later.

Click on Load Template.

Now, you’ll see some code has been automatically added to your subject line, and to the text area of your message. At this point there is no reason to edit any of it. Just leave as is. In the future, you can add things if you want.

And if you scroll down the page, there is also a text version. Just leave this as is too.

Scroll down a little further and you’ll see some other options. These are all good as is.   Click on Save Blog Broadcast.

That’s it – you’re done! If you click back on Messages / Blog Broadcasts, you’ll see your Blog there. If you ever want to edit it, you can click on the title.

Now every time you publish a blog post on your blog, everyone in your email list will automatically receive it in their email.
