- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

Today We’ll Talk About Building Your Avon Business By The Numbers
Whether you are building your Avon business full-time or investing just a few hours a week, if you have big goals for your business, you need to learn to build your business strategically rather than by accident.
If you look at the highly successful Avon Representatives and asked them the secret to their success, you will find that almost all of them will give you the same answer.
That is because focusing on the numbers and being consistent are two of the most common success traits of top Avon Representatives.
I know that might sound scary, and most of us would rather do just about anything than crunch the numbers.
But setting goals, knowing where you stand, and doing the money-making activities are what helps you build a successful business.
You can’t build your Avon business by accident. It just doesn’t work that way.
Knowing your numbers will result in higher sales, more recruits, and earning more Avon incentives.
Working the Numbers
What does working your business by the numbers really mean?
It means that making sure that every day, week, and campaign, you do the money-making activities – these are the things that will bring you more business.
This means that you are talking to enough people so that you are assured to receive the sales and recruits you need to grow your business.
How many is enough?
Well, first you need to know what your goals are.
How much do you want to earn this year, this month, this campaign? Check out this training on how to set goals.
Are you looking to earn the Avon trip incentive (currently Hawaii)?
How much do you need to sell to earn the trip? Break it down to how much you need to sell a campaign. This training on how to set goals will help you with this too.
Break it down to how many customer orders you need per day to either earn the income you desire or earn the trip incentive, or whatever your goals are.
Now that you know how many orders you need per day, you have a goal to aim for. You will keep talking to people until you reach that goal for the day.
Keep a chart handy or write the number on your calendar each day. How much did you sell, or how many orders did you receive?
By tracking your numbers daily, you always know where you stand. If you miss your goal one day, you can make up for it the next day or over the next few days.
Work the Daily 8 System Daily.
The Daily 8 System lays out the money making activities that will help you build your business.
Make sure you are earning the points needed each day to grow your business.
Start with a goal of working to earn 8 points per day. Once you can do that comfortably, or if you want to grow more quickly, add more points to each day.
Schedule time in your calendar to prospect for customers and recruits.
Be sure to follow-up with every person you gave a brochure to 2-3 days after the first brochure you give them, and then be sure to add them into your follow-up system.
Make sure that every customer or potential customer receives a brochure (either paper or digital) every campaign.

You are the one that determines your success by the effort you put into your business.

Even when you have the best intentions to provide the best customer service, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day for you to do everything you need to do and still grow your Avon business.

When you are working a simple system, it’s easy to teach the same system to your new team members and get them off to a great start.
As you become more skilled at sharing the opportunity, your closing ratio will improve and your team will grow even faster.
The larger your team, the more income and freedom you will enjoy.
Being consistent is what will bring you the success you’re looking for
It’s the consistency that makes all the difference.
Consistency runs deep throughout your business practices and can make a real impact on how your business grows.
You can have the best, most perfect strategy in the world, but if you don’t execute it consistently, it won’t do you any good.
Consistency plays a role in how you interact with your customers, what you post on social media, your marketing strategy, and the list goes on.
Consistency is what allows you to grow your business; it’s the underlying secret sauce to all your strategy and your day-to-day operations.
Notice how consistent you are in paying your bills, buying your groceries and feeding your family EVERY WEEK. It’s the same with your business.
You need to set work hours and actually work them. You need to schedule your time wisely and stick to a work schedule.
Yes, your hours and days may be flexible but you still must accomplish all the goals, tasks and chores related to your business.
Setting a goal to get, for instance, contact information from 3 new people every day… and doing that EVERY DAY, and then being sure to get them a new brochure every campaign and following up EVERY Campaign will be the key to your success.
Remember that when you do the work consistently, the results will always come.
You’ll be amazed at what your business looks like a year from now, or even 6 months from now.
And you can look back while you’re enjoying that drink in Hawaii with all your Avon friends!
