I get asked this all the time, especially from team leaders.
Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

The Daily 8 system is a proven formula
When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.
Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.
Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.
Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.

Today We’ll Talk About How Systems Can Help
We go to a meeting, or a convention, or maybe we just attended the recent Avon Kick Off Virtual event.
We’re all pumped and excited for the opportunities in our business!
But it doesn’t take long for that excitement starts to fade. Life gets in the way. We have a lot on our plate.
Now what? How do you stay motivated?
First Off, Let’s Define a Couple of Terms
What is a System?
A system is an accurate, established procedure that works every time, for everyone, each time it is used.
This is why Avon works for so many people, and it’s why we teach our simple system to Automate Your Follow-ups and grow your Avon business.
Once you’ve setup our system, positive results can be duplicated every time the system is worked. And it works for everybody!
What is Motivation?
Motivation is defined as four parts of a single sentence.
It is:
-
- Making a choice
- To take action
- For a result
- Whether you feel like it or not.
Motivation is not about how you feel; it is about what you choose!
Working Success Systems
When we use systems, whether to build our business or to stay motivated, it’s amazing what we can accomplish.
Let’s Look At A Motivation System
The basic motivation system looks like this:
- Everything is a matter of choice.
- Choice equals results.
- Good choices = good results; bad choices = bad results.
Motivation is simply about making a choice to take whatever action you need to take to achieve the results you are looking for.
It’s not magic. It’s just a choice!
There’s quote by Zig Ziglar that I love:
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.”
If you choose to take action whether you feel like it or not, you can be motivated every single day!
That doesn’t mean you have to take action every single day. That is a choice you have.
You are in control of your business, and you get to choose how you will run it.
So that means that many times, you will choose to take action whether you feel like it or not.
There will be those days when you do not choose to take action, and that’s totally okay.
When you are working the motivation system, you become more productive and effective in your business.
And you might decide you are spending time with your family today or doing something for yourself.
When you look at it as a choice that you get to make, you eliminate the guilt trip.
There is no need for guilt. Your business is a choice. You know what you and your business needs at any given time.
Staying Motivated Determines Your Success
When you know what you want in your Avon business and you have a game plan to make it happen, your motivation will determine the success you will obtain.
To stay result-driven is the objective, and the key to that is to remember that it’s all about making choices.
So why do you want to stay motivated?
Here are some possibilities. I’m sure you have you own as well:
- To sell more products
- To make more money
- To build your Avon team
- To earn Avon’s trip incentive
- To plan a family vacation
- To put a child through college, or private school
- To provide braces for your child
- To remodel your home
- To do whatever your heart desires
Write out your reasons and keep them near you.
Put them up on the wall near your desk, or on your refrigerator… somewhere so you will see them all the time.
Break down your goals into campaign, weekly, or even daily actions. This post shows you how to do that.
Know where you stand every day. Maybe you’re tracking $ in sales, or maybe you’re tracking number of orders. Know what you’re tracking and track it every day.
Make the choice to do take the actions you need to, whether you feel like it or not.

“She hasn’t ordered in a while. Should I give her a brochure?
The best part of using our automated system is that you no longer have to worry about these things.
It frees up your time to do the things you need to grow your business.
When you have automated systems in place, you will:
- Have more time to do the things you need to do. You’ll enjoy more flexibility in your schedule and have the time to build your business or spend with your children.
- Be able to stop worrying about repetitive administrative tasks and focus on the strategic work that matters most – the work that only you can do.
- Feel confident in the level of service you are providing your customers because automated systems run without you. They don’t get sick, don’t forget things, don’t drop the ball, or get interrupted by your children or family. Systems provide the same level of service over and over.
- Work less for even more sales, and then have more time to gain new customers and recruits.
Dare to Dream Big
All of life’s excitement and growth comes from knowing how to dream big — and making big dreams a reality.
It’s having that big dream and taking the actions to achieve it that will help you have the most successful Avon business ever! Or, for that matter, anything else you want to accomplish as well.
If you hold yourself back you will rob countless people of the goodness and joy and healing and growth that only your unique contributions can offer.
Because you know what? No one ever changed the world without in some way, dreaming big.
Take the First Steps
Often, taking the first step is the hardest part. But truly, it doesn’t have to be.
Think about what the smallest step you could take to launch your dream and explode your Avon business might be.
Is it as simple as learning what needs to be done? Maybe spend some time on the Getting Started page of this blog. Or maybe it’s taking classes in Avon U.
Maybe it’s setting up systems to help you be successful? Once systems are in place, it’s much easier to really grow your business.
Whatever that first step is, decide what your timeline is, start to gather your momentum, and do it with determination.
Remember Motivation is a Choice
Motivation is simply about making a choice to take whatever action you need to take to achieve the results you are looking for.
If you choose to take action whether you feel like it or not, you can be motivated every single day!
