Create a Campaign Action Plan to Reach Your Goals

You’ve got your vision board filled with photos and you’ve decided on your business goals, but now you need an action plan.

Visualizing what you want in life is a wonderful practice but don’t forget about making an action plan to fulfill those goals.

Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.

There are only 4 main steps:

  1. Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
  2. Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
  3. Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
  4. Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order

And then Rinse and Repeat.

It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.

The Daily 8 system is a proven formula

When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.

Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.

Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.

Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.

The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!

It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About Creating a Campaign Action Plan to Reach Your Goals

Goal setting is crucial to the success of your business.

But are you setting goals that are too easy?  Too challenging?

Goals that are too easy will keep you in your comfort zone and won’t lead to business growth.

Goals that are too challenging will make you feel defeated and possibly cause you to give up on your dream.

Planning on how to accomplish your goals doesn’t require a lot of time but it’s a necessary part of the process.

Otherwise, you’ll wonder each morning what you’re supposed to be doing and will remain at a standstill.

We recently did a training on a Goal Setting Plan To Dramatically Increase Your Avon Sales This Year.  Click here to find that training.

In that training to dramatically increase your Avon Sales this year, we talked about 3 income goals.

When using this system, your three goals look like this:

  • Your first annual income goal should be a number that allows you to feel that you made a big accomplishment in your business
  • The 2nd annual income goal is more like a WOW goal. Something that will be totally incredible for you.
  • The 3rd income goal is a Holy $h&! income goal.

This 3rd goal just blows your mind, and truth is, you probably believe it’s impossible.  But that’s okay.  It’s this goal that’s going to stretch your mind to that next level.

The entire purpose of this system is to really stretch your mind and your efforts to have that dramatic increase in your business this year.

But What if You’re Not Looking for a Dramatic Increase?

Goals are still extremely important.

Even if you’re not looking for that DRAMATIC increase, you still want to challenge yourself and grow.

Whether you’re looking for a dramatic increase or even a smaller one, here’s a way to categorize your goals so you will always be challenged:

1 – Small goals.

These are goals you can reach easily with just a little bit of extra effort, such as finding 1 new person to talk to every day.

Of course, you’ll want to get their contact information and put them in your follow up system.

Small goals should always increase but shouldn’t be so difficult that you end up stressed.

These should be the easiest goals to meet so you feel some accomplishment at the end of the month.

2 – Medium goals.

These are the goals that make you step out of your comfort zone.

Staying in your comfort zone won’t lead to growth; instead, you’ll stay right where you are and won’t see any changes in your business.

A medium goal might be adding 5-10 new customers each campaign.

3 – Large goals.

These are the daydreams or fantasies that may seem out of reach.

Remember, out of reach does not equal impossible.

In your Avon business, this could be reaching a new sales level or leadership title.

Break those goals down into smaller steps, such as monthly, campaign, weekly, or daily goals.

These large goals may take years to accomplish but you’ll still be working toward those goals every single day.

Why Do You Need Goals?

Quite simply, working every day without having concrete goals in mind is like watching a dog chase her tail: she goes around in circles, never going anywhere.

If you’re happy with running your business as a hobby, making only part time money, then don’t set any goals and keep doing what you’ve been doing.

However, if you want more out of life and your business, set aside some time to set goals and prioritize them.

Break them down into doable steps and re-evaluate them at month’s end.

If they need to be reworked, do so; if you met your goals, continue doing what you’re doing or make them slightly more difficult.

Reaching difficult goals not only grows your business but it gives you a nice jolt of self-confidence.

Reach enough of these tough goals and you’ll feel invincible.

Creating A Monthly Action Plan To Reach Your Goals

1 – Break down your ultimate goals into smaller steps.

If you want to double your income, for instance, keep that big number in mind but break that big number down into a per campaign income total.

If you’re looking to earn Avon’s incentive trip, be sure you know exactly what it is that you need to do.

In fact, break that down even further into weekly and daily goals.

In our training, Goal Setting Plan To Dramatically Increase Your Avon Sales This Year, we show you how to break it down all the way to the day, and how to track it.  Watch the video training on that post to learn how to know what you need to earn the Hawaii trip.

Knowing these smaller goals will help you focus on daily money-making tasks to earn those totals and ultimately reach that larger goal.

Create a spreadsheet, or even just write your results on your calendar daily.  Tracking it daily is how you will know where you stand and what you have to do to get back on track if needed.

2 – Plot your daily money-making tasks.

No matter what your ultimate goals, you need to make money with your Avon business and those are the tasks you should prioritize.

What tools do you have at your disposal?

Work the Daily 8 System daily.

Schedule time in your calendar to prospect for customers and recruits.

Be sure to follow-up with every person you gave a brochure to 2-3 days after the first brochure you give them, and then be sure to add them into your follow-up system.

Make sure that every customer or potential customer receives a brochure (either paper or digital) every campaign.

Be sure to schedule your follow-ups every campaign.

You are the one that determines your success by the effort you put into your business.

3 – Systemize Your Business Where Possible.

Even when you have the best intentions to provide the best customer service, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day for you to do everything you need to do and still grow your Avon business.

Implementing our follow-up system helps to keep your customers happy and taken care of while freeing up your time so you can focus on finding new business.

Campaign Mailer ensures that every customer receives a brochure every campaign.  Project Broadcast ensures that every Digital Brochure customer receives a Digital Brochure every campaign.

Project Broadcast makes follow-ups easy.  You just schedule them and you’re good to go.

And DialMyCalls helps get the follow-up out to those customers for whom you have landline phone numbers for or who don’t text.

I know that you’re busy – probably too busy. You want to grow your Avon business and earn more money, but you know you also need to take care of your current customers and keep them happy.

And along the way, the whole reason you’re selling Avon is to be able to spend time with your kids, or not have to work 40 hours a week, or whatever it is you are working towards.

When you have automated systems in place, you will:

  • Have more time to do the things you need to do. You’ll enjoy more flexibility in your schedule and have the time to build your business or spend with your children.
  • Be able to stop worrying about repetitive administrative tasks and focus on the strategic work that matters most – the work that only you can do.
  • Feel confident in the level of service you are providing your customers because automated systems run without you. They don’t get sick, don’t forget things, don’t drop the ball, or get interrupted by your children or family. Systems provide the same level of service over and over.
  • Work less for even more sales and have more time to gain new customers and recruits.

And, at the same time, systems help your customers to have a better experience by:

  • Establishing expectations, boundaries and clear roles – For instance, they receive a text or phone call from you a couple of days before your order is going to go in, so they have no question when they need to get their order to you, and when they can expect it to be delivered.
  • Providing a consistent, high-quality level of service that meets their expectations. When your brochures go out in the mail every campaign, there’s no question about who received one and who didn’t. Your customers will appreciate that they can count on receiving one every campaign.

Your customers will quickly come to understand that your systems are providing them with a consistent customer experience and will appreciate you for that.

Automation isn’t meant to replace interaction and personal engagement. It’s meant to enhance it and supplement it.

4 – Track your progress.

Print off the Daily 8 Plan Worksheet and keep it handy so you can track your progress every day.

If you’re looking to grow your sales, take one of the rows you are not using and insert your daily sales total in each day.

At the end of each campaign, and again when you do your monthly bookkeeping is a great time for this evaluation.

Did you reach your daily and monthly goals?

Did you have a couple of days where you doubled or tripled your goals?

What was different? What did you do on those days? Try to replicate those actions in upcoming campaigns.

If you did NOT meet your goals, figure out why not and make changes to your plan. Then ramp up your actions for the next campaign.

5 – Document your action plan.

Just because you come up with a great plan in your head doesn’t make it real.

Putting information down on paper makes it real and easy to check if you’re following through.

Your Campaign Action Plan Will Make All The Difference
