A Facebook Business Page has advantages over using your personal Facebook page. First off, you don’t want to alienate all your friends by posting Avon all over your personal page.
When you have a Facebook Business Page, you can post all day long without offending anyone. Only people who have agreed to Like your page will see the posts.
I suggest you post 5 times per day on your business page. Be sure to share different types of posts – such as recruiting posts, videos, product pictures, slideshows… pretty much anything you can think of. Rotate sales and recruiting posts.
If 5 times a day is too many, pick a number and be consistent. That’s the most important thing. There are several tools where you can schedule your posts ahead of time, and so you can do it once or twice a week and get them all scheduled. My favorites are PostPlanner and Buffer. There are lots of others as well.
Then you can share a post from your Facebook Business Page to your personal page maybe once a day or less. That way, you’re not “throwing up” all over your friends.
For simple instructions on how to setup a page, type “create a business page” in the Facebook help box at the top of the page under the question mark.
The best thing about a business page is it’s a place where you can talk only about Avon, you can portray a professional Avon business, and Facebook pages also give you statistics so you can monitor what’s working and what’s not.
