Find 5 New Representatives And Teach Them To Reach 5 Too
Some people think we are in the sales business. I really believe we are more in the “sharing” business.
Sure, at the end of the day, if we don’t sell anything, there’s no money to be made.
But let the sales come as a natural result of building your organization.
Selling is calling on people to sell them something.
Building a strong Avon Business is building a network through which your products are distributed – sales come from Representatives sharing with friends, relatives and acquaintances.
Work With Those You Sponsor
Sometimes “selling” or recruiting too many people can be detrimental to our business.
It is imperative that you work with those you sponsor – teach them to do the same thing you do.
It is more important to teach someone to build their business than it is to go out and sponsor more people.
It is better to sponsor 10 teachers than it is to find 10 salesmen.
Working with 5 people at a time allows you to spend your time teaching them.
You must go three levels deep to build a strong organization. If you don’t go at least 3 deep, that leg will likely disappear.
Start out by just looking for people who are looking to make an extra $500 to $1200 per month.
When you sponsor 5 serious people you are just building the foundation for your business.
Teach those five to do the same and build the next level to 25 and your foundation is much stronger.
When you teach those 25 to each get five and you build the third level to 125, that’s where your business will really start to take off.
This is where duplication is going to happen and your business will really start growing.
Be Careful Who You Spend Your Time With
Those who don’t want to work the business can use up your most valuable resource… your time!
Look for those who want to build a business. Keep looking for and sponsoring new Representatives.
As you find the ones who want to work, spend the time with them to teach them the system and get them off to a great start.
Then keep looking for another. The more Representatives you can get direct to you (or personally sponsored by you), the faster your network will grow.
Just be sure to look for the “gems” along the way.
Use the Law of Averages
The Law of Averages says that for every 10 people to whom you show your opportunity to, about three will get into your business.
Of those three, one of them might become an outstanding Representative.
So set your outlook long-term. Look for quality prospects. You want your Representatives to be committed.
The people that you want and who want this business are out there just waiting for you to contact them.
When you find five people who want success more than you do and you can show them how to achieve it, your own success will be assured!
