It’s easy to dream about what you want, but if you don’t have a clear plan to get there, it is just a dream.

Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

The Daily 8 system is a proven formula
When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.
Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.
Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.
Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.

Today We’ll Talk About a Goal Setting Plan For Higher Sales And Avon Cancun Trip in 2022
When it really comes down to it, we all have two choices: get by in our Avon business or design the thriving business we want.
When you create the opportunity to design your Avon business (“create” being the key word because it’s not going to be handed to you), you can design a life that makes you happy, fulfilled, and successful, whatever success looks like to you.
So, what are you looking for in your Avon Business this year?
Want to make more money? Move to the next title? Earn the Cancun Trip?
This is all doable if you make a goal setting plan to get there, and then work that plan.

Start With a Goal-Setting Session
Although you definitely want to set yearly income goals, I have found that sometimes breaking them down into 6 months makes it easier to be realistic and to stay on track.
In fact, 6-month increments are smart because it gives you the chance to evaluate and recalibrate halfway through the year.
It gives you the chance to make additional plans should life get in the way, or for unforeseen challenges which can come up.
If you haven’t already, take some time and ask yourself:
- What do I want to accomplish this year?
- How many people do I want to impact and inspire this year?
- What are my income goals this year?
If you have a team, you can schedule a zoom call with your leaders and ask the same questions for your team.
This is a great way to set team goals and have your team leaders buy-in and participate in achieving the goals you set.
Start Your Goal Setting With 3 Income Goals
This is the start of making sure this is going to be your best year yet!
- Your first annual income goal should be a number that allows you to feel that you made a big accomplishment in your business
- The 2nd annual income goal is more like a WOW goal. Something that will be totally incredible for you.
- The 3rd income goal is a Holy $h&! income goal.
This 3rd goal just blows your mind, and truth is, you probably believe it’s impossible. But that’s okay. It’s this goal that’s going to stretch your mind to that next level.
This income planning session is the first step.
There is no point in planning activities for the next 6 months if you don’t know what your income target is.
So get busy – grab a notepad or journal and write your 3 income goals down.
Goal Setting – Plan How You’re Going to Achieve It
Now that we know what our income targets are, we can make a plan on how we’re going to achieve them.
Commission Levels
When you first get started with Avon, you earn 25% on Beauty & Jewelry, and 20% on Fashion & Home.
When you sell $5,000, you promote to Premier level, and your earnings go up to 30% on Beauty & Jewelry and 20% on Fashion & Home.
If you are new, there is a Pathway to Premier Program to help you promote to that Premier level.
And if you follow that program, you can earn over $3,000 in your first 8 campaigns. Here is a post that will help you Track Your Pathway to Premier Progress.
The next level is President’s Club, and the image below shows the commission levels for each promotion through the program.
Reaching Those Commission Levels
Once you know what sales level you want to reach, the next thing you’ll need to do is break that down, so you know what it is you have to do.
Take the Sales Level you want to reach this year and divide it by 26. That’s the number of Campaigns Avon has in a year.
So, for instance, if your goal is Honor Society, you need to sell $20,000. Divided by 26, that is roughly $770 per campaign.
Now you need to determine how many customers you need for each campaign.
It seems, at least for me, that my average customer order is right around $25.
Sure, sometimes I get $100 orders and sometimes $8 orders.
But overall, I’d say $25 is a good number.
So, let’s go with that. If your numbers are different, you can adjust as necessary.
Avon provides the Gotta Get It Sets and other special deals to help us get to a $50 order. Maybe you’re good at utilizing those tools. If so, you need fewer customers. 🙂
Here’s what you would need to get the sales you’re looking for:
$400 Sales –
16 Customer orders at $25/each, or 8 Customer orders at $50/each
This is the magical number that will help you achieve President’s Club ($10,000), and the guaranteed 40% earnings on regular items. Your fixed-earnings items will go up to 25%.
$1,000 Sales –
40 Customer orders at $25/each or 20 Customer orders at $50/each.
At this level, you would have no problem reaching Honor Society ($20,000)
$1,500 Sales –
60 Customer orders at $25/each or 30 Customer orders at $50/each.
At this level, you would have no problem reaching Rose Circle ($35,000) and a guaranteed 45% earnings on regular items.
$2,500 Sales –
100 Customer orders at $25/each or 50 Customer orders at $50/each
At this level, you will reach David H. McConnell Club ($65,000)
$4,500 Sales –
180 Customer orders at $25/each or 90 Customer orders at $50/each
At this level, you will reach President’s Council ($110,000) and will earn a very special vacation trip for you and a guest.
$8,500 Sales –
340 Customer orders at $25/each or 170 Customer orders at $50/each
This is the top of the top! At this level, you have achieved Inner Circle ($220,000). You will receive 50% guaranteed earnings and will receive extra special recognition.
See, it really is that easy.
How much you earn depends on how much effort you want to put into your business.
Activities To Grow Your Sales
Now that you have your income goal and have figured out what Sales Level will help you to achieve it, now it’s time to get into action.
The First step is to get out your calendar.
Sit down and plan the specific time slots where you will be building your business.
Be realistic. Obviously, if you have a really large income goal, then you’ll need to spend a lot of time and effort to achieve it. If you have a smaller goal, you can spend less time.
Consistency is key, and your calendar is how you’re going to achieve it.

Be Sure to Have Plenty Of Brochures
Your Avon brochure is your store. If you don’t get your brochures in front of enough people, your store is effectively closed for business.
You can use paper brochures, or digital brochures, or a combination of the two. That’s up to you.

Regardless of which type of brochure you decide to use, the numbers below will apply.
Here are my suggestions for how many brochures you might need for each sales level.
There is no set amount or guarantee. As you go along, you’ll figure out what works best for you.
$400 Sales – 100 brochures
$1,000 Sales – 250 brochures
$1,500 Sales – 375 brochures
$2,500 Sales – 625 brochures
$4,500 Sales – 1,125 brochures
$8,500 Sales – 2,125 brochures
I know it sounds like a lot of brochures, which may cost a lot of money. But let’s break it down here.
375 brochures will cost you about $80 for $1,500 in sales. 1,125 brochures will cost you approximately $230 for $4,500 in sales. Not so bad now, right?
The Digital Brochure will cost you nothing. But keep in mind, the numbers above are just as important.
If you’re going to use your Digital Brochure, you still need to get it into that many hands.
Get into Action with Income Producing Activities
This is where most of your effort is going to be.
Depending on how high your sales/income goals are, you will need to spend more or less time here.

Your goal is to get every one of those brochures out to potential customers and collect contact information along the way.
Get out of your house. You might do door-to-door, stand outside the grocery store, start a business office route, or any number of other ideas.
If your sales goals are high, here’s a post I wrote about massive action.
Don’t forget to get their contact information.
Get a name and number or email for every person you can who you give a brochure to.
This is critical because you will want to follow up with them to see if there is anything you can order for them.
Enter all your leads into your Follow-Up System
I strongly suggest you automate your follow-ups, as this will ensure that you are staying on top of your business as you continue to grow.
As you talk to people who would like a brochure, be sure to enter them into your Web Office.
You’ll also want to create a Brochure Distribution List as you find those who are interested in receiving brochures.
Once you have people on your list, I have found Campaign Mailer to be a huge timesaver to make sure everyone gets a brochure.
Now, Follow-up, Follow-up, Follow-up…
I can’t stress the importance of Follow-up enough.
People are busy. Many times, they want to order. They may even mark up their brochure, but then they forget to call you.
If you call them, you have a much better chance of getting an order from them.
You’re not trying to get them to order. You’re just providing good customer service.
When they are ready, they will order from you. But until they are ready to order, you’ll be there letting them know you are there for them.
Make sure every person that received a brochure from you gets a follow-up call or text from you a couple of days before you place your order. This is critical!
Just to help you understand how important this is. About 8 years ago, when I was living in California, I was selling over $110,000/year.
I thoroughly understand how important follow-ups were, but I didn’t have the time to do them personally. This was before texting became popular.
I found a phone message service. I recorded a message saying that I was getting ready to place my order, and it was automatically blasted out to my list.
When my message went out on Friday morning, my sales were typically between $500 and $800.
But because of my phone message, by Monday, my sales were near $6,000. This worked every campaign without fail.
It’s really that important!
Now it’s time to bag and deliver your orders
Those huge orders will take some time to bag and deliver. But I promise you; you will build a system for doing that that will work for you.
And as you get better at it, you will be able to knock that out in less time.
And, as you get better at building your online sales, your customers will be ordering from your Avon Online Store, and you will be spending less and less time bagging orders.
Rinse & Repeat
These are the basics about how to build your business and reach those huge sales.
But the biggest key is massive action, finding new people, making sure everyone gets a brochure, getting a name and number to follow up and then follow-up, taking their orders, and finally delivering their orders.
Just keep doing those things over and over.
It’s really not hard. It’s just about staying consistent and giving it massive action.

Goal Setting – Conclusion
Goal Setting and Planning is the first step to finding your success.
If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll never get there.
Start out by blocking out some time to create a goal setting plan for your next 6 months.
Every week or every campaign, sit down and check-in with yourself.
How are you doing with your goals?
This step is crucial. Without re-evaluating, you won’t be able to give yourself feedback.
Feedback is what drives continual change and growth.
If you’re happy with your progress, congratulate yourself. Celebrate!
If not, identify areas where you can improve and adjust your plan accordingly.
