How To Build Your Avon Business On Social Media

Social Media is a great way to build your Avon business.

That’s because social media makes it possible to reach more people, connect with like-minded individuals, and grow your business at a desirable pace.

Lots and lots of small business owners are going online because they recognize the value that the internet brings to their businesses.

The right social networks have the power of accelerating the growth of your Avon business and moving it from where it is to where you want it to be, faster.

Using social media will make it easier for you to manage your business more efficiently, offer quality service, and reach more people with less effort.

If you realize the flexibility and convenience that running your business online brings but don’t know where to start, there are a couple of things you can do to ensure success and help you meet your goals.

4 steps to running a successful business on social media.

1 – Decide on the right social media platforms.

While social media platforms offer great opportunities and can take your business to the next level, not all of them are ideal for your business.

Decide which platforms best suit your needs and use them to get the results you desire.

Right now, it seems that Facebook and Instagram are the best places to start.

Which platform offers you the most convenience, flexibility, and helps you grow?

I suggest you pick one and master that one.

This will allow you to become an expert on that platform.

But you might realize that you need two or more platforms to effectively grow your Avon business.

So, if you decide that you have a lot to gain from both Facebook and Instagram, or Facebook and Twitter, for instance, go ahead and use both platforms.

But still keep your primary focus on mastering one. And then you can move to mastering the other and move up from there.

2 – Pick the right tools.

While you can do everything manually for sure.  So, if your budget is a concern, stick with doing it yourself.

You can use our OnlineBeautyBiz Social Calendars to help you plan.

But if you can afford to use some tools, consider using a tool to help you plan out and schedule your posts.

Two fantastic tools that I use regularly are CinchShare and MultiBrain.

Both tools allow you to schedule posts ahead of time, so you can spend an hour or two and schedule out all your posts for the week.

The Avon Digital Brochure is a tool you definitely need in your arsenal.  And Avon provides that for you for free.

Another tool you might find extremely helpful is Project Broadcast, a texting tool that will allow you to set up an Avon Book Text List.

3 – Clarify your purpose and communicate effectively.

The main reasons for running your business on social media include effectiveness, flexibility, convenience, and growth.

And the best way of achieving that is by having goals, sticking to them, and communicating clearly with your target audience.

So, come up with a mission statement, stick to your business purpose, and ensure you are available at all times to respond when someone sends you a message via social media.

If you are not available to respond to message for any specific period, be sure to setup an auto response message or something letting them know you will get back to them shortly.

You want to look professional to potential customers and team members.

4 – Build relationships with the right people.

The people you connect with, follow, or engage in conversations with can have a significant impact on the way you run your business.

They can either help you to grow or cause you to fail.

Therefore, build relationships with the right people.

Follow people or organizations that inspire you to advance and improve.

Participate in conversations that are in line with your work and comment on posts that interest you.

One mistake you can make as a business owner is to fail to show interest in other online businesses.

Remember that the best way of reaching like-minded people and getting them curious about your services or products is by showing an interest in what they do.

When people see that you value their work, they will value yours.

So, like, follow, comment, and ask questions. Join relevant groups, share your ideas, experiences, and participate in discussions.

Running your business on social media comes with its challenges and it may take a while before you start seeing the results you desire.

But keep at it because the rewards far outweigh the challenges.

You may have to deal with setbacks and difficulties that come in the form of your business not growing as quickly as you would like.

Continue working, stick to your business purpose, and never act or respond on impulse.

And remember, just like with building your business offline in person, your results will be a direct result of how much effort you put into it.

If your business isn’t growing as quickly as you would like, look for more ways to expand your efforts for greater results.

The greatest thing about running your business completely on social media is that you get to work from anywhere you like and reach millions of people within a short space of time.

So, congratulations on taking your business online.
