How To Make Career Money With Avon

Maybe you are a brand new Avon Representative, or maybe you’ve been around for a while… but you want to earn more money in your Avon business.

How much money you want to make can be a very personal decision. Some people want gangster income, some want to earn $10,000/year, and some may want to earn $300/month to take care of some bills or fun money.

Whatever your goals, this post is going to show you how to do that.

When You First Get Started Selling Avon – Your First 8 Campaigns

Avon’s Pathway to Premier Program will help you earn $3,250+ in your first 8 campaigns (4 months).

Avon taps into your passion for your business for a quick start to achieving your goals and making money every campaign – and in 4 months you are set to make it happen.

Avon’s New Pathway To Premier Incentive

You will earn an extra $20 bonus for every $200 you sell within a single campaign.  Keep bumping up those $200 increments and you’ll receive more of those $20 bills!

As you achieve the Milestone levels, there’s even more bonus money for you.

You’ll also receive a $20 bonus every time you invite someone to join your Avon team and they qualify by placing a $150+ order in their first or second campaign.

Of course, you can make a lot more than $3,250 in your first8 Campaigns. How much you sell and how many people you invite to join you in your Avon business is totally up to you.

Here’s a tracking sheet to help you stay on track.

If you work this right, at about 6 months is where the real money begins!

Your goal at 6 months is to achieve the title of Bronze Leader. This is where the money starts getting really fun and where your business is kicking into gear. Everything increases exponentially from here.

Here is an image of the current 2020 Compensation Plan.

As you can see from the image above, the requirements to achieve Bronze Leader is you personally have to be selling $200/campaign. You need 10 team members placing orders, and you need $8,000 in total team sales.

So let’s make a plan to get you to the requirements of Bronze Leader.

The first thing you need to do is figure out where you are now. You can find these numbers in VIBE (Note, you are required to have at least one team member before you can access VIBE).

Look at your last closed campaign (Previous Campaign) in the Business Dashboard to find the numbers you will need for this exercise.

These are the numbers we will need for this exercise:

  • Your Total Unit Sales
  • Your Average Order
  • Your Team Activity

Let’s look at one of my team member’s numbers. We’ll call her Mary.

As you can see from the above image, Mary still has some work to do.  She is still brand new.  Your numbers might look a lot better!

Her total Unit Sales on the last Campaign was $1,291 so we plugged that into Total Unit Sales.

Her team’s Average Order is $129.10 so we plugged that into Average Order

And her Team Activity is 45.0% so we plugged that into Team Activity

All the yellow cells in the spreadsheet are formulas, so you shouldn’t touch those.

So for Mary, she needs to grow her business by $6,709 each campaign to get to the $8,000 needed for Bronze Leader.

When you divide that by her Average Order of $129.10 that means she needs 52 additional orders.

Just having 52 more people on your team doesn’t work. Not everyone places an order every campaign. So you take her average Team Activity of 45% and times that by the 52 Additional Orders she needs and that gives a number of 23 more you need over the 52 to reach the goal.

So 23 plus the 52 equals 75, so that’s how many new team members she needs to get to where she can achieve Bronze Leader!

Now that you know this, you can determine how quickly you want to reach that promotion.  If you bring in one new team member every week, it will take you 75 weeks.  Two team members per week would do it in 38 weeks.

Keep in mind that as you and your team grow and get better at your business, these numbers will actually shrink. Your average order will go up and your activity may increase.

The earlier you start recruiting in your business, you’ll be in the perfect spot at six months.  And the more you mentor your team members, the more quickly you will also achieve your goals.

So don’t let these numbers scare you, but you will want to monitor them and do this exercise frequently to see exactly where you are.  That way you can make any course corrections and more quickly achieve your goal of reaching your goal of Bronze Leader.

Now that you’ve reached Bronze Leader, the fun really starts. As I said before, your income exponentially increases after this point.

If you really want to make good money, you will want to take advantage of every opportunity Avon provides you.
