How to Use Facebook Stories to Grow Your Avon Business

Facebook stories and Instagram stories are just a collection of content that’s out there for 24 hours.

It is a free tool for you to use to grow your Avon business.  That’s the best part of this whole thing.

Your Facebook Stories continue to work when you’re asleep.  So, it’s totally possible to wake up in the morning with messages in your Inbox.

Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.

There are only 4 main steps:

  1. Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
  2. Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
  3. Following up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
  4. Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order

And then Rinse and Repeat.

It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.

The Daily 8 system is a proven formula

When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.

Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.

Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.

Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.

The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!

It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About How to Use Facebook Stories to Grow Your Avon Business

You can build your entire business through Facebook Stories if you learn how to use them and are consistent.

500 million people watch stories every single day.

Stories are growing faster and are 15X more watched than your Newsfeed.

You can have endless leads every single day.

Stories are the first thing your prospect sees before scrolling the newsfeed.

This is a way to get in front of your perfect prospect, every single day.

Grow, Engage, Promote…

It’s one thing to friend people on Facebook, but it’s another thing to interact with them!

If used correctly, stories can expedite how fast you build influence with your audience.

When people LIKE, LOVE, RESPOND to your polls and questions – They are reacting to your story.

They have to see your face in stories.  People need to see your face in the story.

Get in the habit of taking selfies, taking pictures, and posting them on your stories, putting some polls, or some type of engagement.

You want them to take an action and engage.

6 Pitfalls and What To Avoid When Creating Facebook Stories

1 – Spamming Stories –

Don’t do too much selling. Don’t make it all about the sell, sell, sell.  In fact, leave the prices out of it.  Curiosity posts work much better.  Let them see you using the products, or give hints about how to use it.

2 – Using too many quote graphics –

Quotes are great but don’t make them all quotes.

You need a variety of content in your stories.

3 – Using filters without relation to the content –

Using different filters like bunny ears, heart eyes, or different-colored hair is great if you’re trying to be funny or silly.

But if it’s not related to the content at all, it’s better to leave them off.

4 – Posting without intention –

This is something we can all work on.  Work to be intentional in your posting rather than just posting all sorts of willy-nilly content.

Pick 5 areas you want to focus on, and then be sure to hit each of these areas every week.

Could be things like Skin Care, Health/Wellness, Career (Recruiting), Being a Home School Mom, Quotes, Other Things you Love.

5 – Text covering your face –

Text is awesome to use in stories, but don’t cover face.

Hint:  Quotes are especially awesome when you create an image with your face and the quote.

6 – Don’t use the same content in your Facebook Stories as you do in your Facebook Newsfeed –

Your audience doesn’t want to see the same content across the platforms.

Brand Yourself, Not Your Company.

You are creating a personal brand for yourself, not Avon.

People buy from those they know, like, and trust.  Help them decide that is you.

You are Awesome!

You want people messaging you!  Asking you about what you do, how you do it, etc.

How can you provide solutions for your people?  Value, Education, Fun.

Show them what you are doing throughout the day.

For example… Taking your kids to the library?  Post a pic and ask them if they go to the library.

Or take a pic of you drinking water and add the text, “Did you drink enough water today?

Invite them to your private Facebook VIP Group.

How Many Facebook Stories Should I Post?

I sure don’t spend all day on my phone.  After all, I have other things to do throughout the day.

I get on my phone probably three times a day… the first thing in the morning I will post 2-3 stories, again at lunchtime 2-3 stories, and in the evening 2-3 stories.

5-6 Stories per day is a good number.  Rotate between your areas of focus.

Create a rotation schedule so you always know what you are going to post next and to keep your areas of focus in focus.

Using buttons like Polls are great to add.  Polls bring you a lot of clicks.

Using Stories to Grow Your Avon Business

Anybody who interacts or pushes a button is a lead for you.

If they Love a post or respond to a Poll, etc., then you can respond to them and start a conversation.

Just reach out to them and say something like, “Thank you so much for loving on my post. What caught your attention about this?

Just start a conversation so you can get to know each other.

You’re not spamming anyone.  They pushed the button. And so now you get to help them.

That’s the cool thing about Facebook Stories.  People raise their hands.

You don’t have to send out cold messages to people or chase people.  Just go with the ones who raise their hands.
