There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order.
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

Things change during the summer.
Some of us are still working every day and keeping our business going.
But for some of us, school is out, and we have kids at home.
Maybe we want to travel and vacation more this summer.
Or maybe we just want to lay by the pool and enjoy the sunshine.
We’ve heard that business just slows down in the summer.
But that’s not really true.
Actually, it’s us that’s slowed down with our business during the summer.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
The worst thing you can do is completely stop working your business.
It is MUCH harder to revive a dead business than to maintain an active one!
So, let’s explore some practical tips to help you keep your Avon business thriving while enjoying every moment of your well-deserved summer vacation.
1 – Schedule Out Your Social Media Posts
Showing up and being present is everything.
Now, I’m not saying you have to be present from morning to night. That’s not going to help you enjoy your summer.
But your social media posts are super critical.
You should be posting in your VIP Group and your Business Pages every day.
It’s important to keep up the engagement posts on your personal page.
Everything should be planned ahead.
I use a program called CinchShare to schedule out my social media posts. Â There are others as well.
But the key is to plan it all out ahead of time so you’re not having to decide what you’re posting every day.
Take advantage of the Social Media Calendars we publish every month.
You can schedule out your whole month of posts for your VIP Group and Business Pages using CinchShare.
Once scheduled, they will just post on their own.
Even your personal posts and Facebook Stories/Instagram Stories can be scheduled in CinchShare.
You will still need to post them manually using the app every day, but if they’re planned out and scheduled out, you’re golden.
It’s just a matter of opening the app and posting the content.
Once you’ve got your social media planned and scheduled out, you’ve freed up a lot of time where you can just enjoy your summer.
Now all you need to do is pop into social media a couple of times during the day and engage with the comments.
And you’re going to be on social media anyway.
Post pictures of your vacations, spending time with your kids at the pool, hanging out at the beach… whatever you’re doing.
Your followers love to see this insight into your life!
Embrace the Power of Social Media While Enjoying Your Summer
One of the fantastic things about Avon is its strong online presence, and you can leverage that to your advantage during the summer.
Take advantage of sunny days and beautiful backgrounds to capture vibrant product photos or create fun and engaging content.
Share them on your social media platforms, and let the world see how Avon can enhance their summer experience.
Let your customers/prospects see how you’re enjoying your summer.
Be sure to add a touch of your unique personality to make your posts even more captivating.
2 – Don’t Skip the Income Producing Activities
This is huge! And you don’t want to let this go.
I understand that you might not be able to work on your business every day.
But the income-producing activities are critical to your business.
Schedule out Power Hours where you can work in your business.
This can be 2-3 times a week, or whatever your summer schedule will allow.
Use this time to start new conversations on social media and following up with people you’ve already started conversations with.

3 – Automate As Much As Possible So You Can Get Back to Enjoying Your Summer
Embrace technology and automation to streamline your business operations and increase efficiency.
It’s still super important to get a brochure to every person every campaign, and then follow-up before the end of the campaign.
