Mindset Tricks of Successful Avon Representatives
Want to know what sets the uber-successful Avon Representatives apart from the wannabe Avon Representatives?
It’s not money, or brilliant ideas, or even powerful friends.
All of those things (and more) are nice to have, but they’re not a requirement of success. What is a must-have, though, is a good attitude.
Without the proper mindset, you’ll constantly be battling your own brain, and that’s exhausting.
- You’ll allow yourself to believe your ideas are no good
- You’ll remain convinced that you aren’t smart enough
- You’ll be certain that someone else did it (whatever “it” is) better
And before you know it, you’ll have talked yourself right out of talking to that new person, or passing out your Avon brochures.
In not time at all, you’ll be back at your day job, working away on someone else’s business because you just don’t have the confidence to create your own successful Avon business.
But a simple mindset change can make all the difference.
Dress for Success
Ladies, this one is for you. When we work at home, it’s easy to fall into the habit of wearing sweatpants and T-shirts to the “office” – I’m guilty of this! After all, why dress up just for the dog?
But if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to instantly shift your mindset in the right direction, ditch the yoga pants and break out the lipstick.
You’ll suddenly find you feel more professional, more confident, and sexier too. (Well, that last one might not help your Avon business, but it just might spice up your love life, and that can’t hurt, right?!?)
Never Let Fear Drive Your Decisions
Too many would-be successful Avon Representatives operate with a scarcity mindset rather than approaching their business from a place of abundance.
Rather than telling yourself that you can’t afford to hire a virtual assistant or work with a coach, try reframing your thoughts.
Rather than thinking, “I can’t afford to attend RepFest (or whatever event),” ask yourself, “How can I earn the money to invest in this trip?”
Rather than saying, “I have to do everything myself because I can’t afford to hire a VA,” remind yourself that your hourly rate potential is much more than you’d pay a virtual assistant.
Even hiring someone to come in and clean your house can make such a huge difference to the time you have to build your business.
Then fill those hours you’re saving by outsourcing with moneymaking tasks of your own.
Stay the Course
Tony Robbins once said, “Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”
It’s true. In order to be successful in any business, and that includes your Avon business, is you have to stay long enough to be successful.
Avon is definitely not a get rich quick scheme.
It takes time and effort to build your business. Network Marketing by its nature is a long-term business. It takes consistent effort and time to become successful.
Of course you can make money right away, especially when you sell the products, but those who are Avon Rockstars have been working for years to get there!
Take action daily and teach your Avon team to do the same. They will do what they see you do. Keep focused, maximize your time, set goals and keep your eye on the prize, these are essential keys to building a huge successful Avon business!
You might not be rich in your first year, but if you stay the course and take daily action, you most likely won’t believe how far you’ve come in your Avon business in 5-10 years.
By reformatting your thoughts, you’ll turn that negative talk into positive solutions that help you grow.
