Below are a few more tips on how to recruit more Representatives into your Avon Business. The more consistently you do these things, the better results you will achieve.
Learn How to Generate Leads
When you know how to generate leads, building your team becomes almost automatic.
There are thousands of ways to get leads for your business. Here is a post about 100 Ways to Grow Your Avon Business. If you look through this blog, you’ll find lots of other ideas as well. Go to the search bar on the right side and search for prospects or prospecting.
Learn everything you can about how to generate leads for your business. Find two or three strategies that you feel good about and that will work for you, and focus on them exclusively.
Take massive action, and do nothing else until you master these two or three ideas that you’ve decided to implement.
Become Really Good At Follow-Up
Once you’ve found some leads, there is nothing more important than following up with them. Everything hinges in this on task.
You’ll find very few people who will sign up on the spot, unless it was already something they were thinking about and you just happened to catch them at the right time.
Most of your prospects will need at least five to twelve follow-ups before they join as a Representative. That is a fact.
The sad thing is most Leadership Representatives will give up after the first or second follow-up. That is a big mistake, and if you’re doing this, you’re sending them my way – because when I talk with them, I will continue to follow-up forever or until they tell me to stop.
People wonder why I am successful in my Avon business, and that is the reason. I do not stop following up, while most Representatives never get past the second follow-up.
Seriously, that is the whole reason. I’m not better than you – just more persistent. 🙂
Avon provides a wonderful tool called ALMA to help you manage your follow-ups. You can purchase leads from Avon, or you can input your own leads into ALMA.
Here is a post I wrote about how to use ALMA for your follow-ups. Even though the post is talking about ALMA, this will work with any lead you receive from any source. You might have to adjust your messages to fit the situation, but if you use the system provided in the blog post, your recruiting efforts will dramatically increase.
My system uses a combination of phone, emails and texts. You can also incorporate Facebook, or whatever other services serve your needs.
Your goal is not to pressure or annoy people, but to professionally stay in touch with them, and keep Avon and our products in the forefront of their mind.
Then, when they are ready, they will join with you. Don’t worry if they don’t join right away, or even if they don’t join after a couple of weeks. Many Representatives that I sponsor take 90 to 180 days to join from our first contact.
Know What You Have To Offer
Take a good, hard look at yourself and how you work your business. What makes you different than every other Avon Representative? What do you have to offer a new Representative that joins your team?
It doesn’t have to be anything dramatic. But people want to know that the people they’re following are confident and serious about their business.
Know what promotions Avon is offering. Study them until you can easily explain them to a prospect with confidence. Many of Avon’s promotions are geared to help new Representatives get off to a great start! Take advantage of those tools to help you show the benefits of joining Avon now and with you.
The people you are talking to about joining you in your business want to know that you care about them as a person, and not just another number on your team. They want to know that you’re going to take their hand and help them along their journey, and be there when they need you.
