Recruit More Avon Representatives For Your Business – Part 3
Building your Avon team is the most lucrative part of your Avon business.
The Avon Leadership Program is where you will be best positioned to make the most money with Avon.
We’ve been spending some time covering different ways to Recruit more Avon Representatives into your business and build your team.
When you say Yes to Avon Leadership, you’re saying YES to:
- Higher earnings
- Higher bonuses & prizes
- More knowledge & skills
- More exciting opportunities of development with Avon
Below are a few more tips on how to recruit more Representatives into your Avon Business. The more consistently you do these things, the better results you will achieve.
Use Your Own Talents and Abilities –
Every one of us is unique. We all have different strengths and weaknesses. Find a way to build your Avon business that makes sense to you. What works for me might not work for you and vice-versa.
I have spent years building my Avon business the traditional way, face-to-face. I still do that. I have developed an office route, I leave brochures in different hair salons, and I have even gone door-to-door.
I am not comfortable with door-to-door prospecting, so I now mostly focus on businesses.
But I also build online. I have been doing this since the start and it’s where I’m most comfortable. I blog daily and that brings me customers and recruits.
Make a list of your own natural talents and strengths. Figure out what you’re good at and brainstorm ways that you can use those talents and strengths to generate leads and recruit more Representatives.
Set Up at Local Events and Shows –
Local events are a great way to meet new prospects and recruit more Avon Representatives. There are all kinds of events out there: flea markets, bazaars, craft shows, farmer’s markets, and lots of other local events.
The beauty of events is that people come to you!
You can setup a table or a booth. You can have a nice display of your products and services. Prospects will ask you questions, and you’ll be able to pass out brochures and get contact information, or even sign up new Avon Representatives on the spot.
If money is tight and you can’t afford to purchase a booth or table, partner with a team member or other local Representative. Or go as an attendee and network with each of the vendors.
Make it a goal to do one local event every month.
Team Up With Local Entrepreneurs –
Take the time to meet influential people in your community. Attend local networking events and get to know the other entrepreneurs in your area. Show a genuine interest in these people, do business with them, and refer others to their business.
Let them know what you do and ask for referrals. Work to form a strategic alliance with other business professionals and refer business to each other. Just make sure it is a win-win relationship. Just one strategic alliance can lead to lots of referrals and new leads.
Get involved. Volunteer and help wherever you can. Be a pillar in your local community. Be a servant leader and strive to help others. What goes around comes around.
Leverage Public Speaking –
I know… public speaking can be really scary. Some people fear it more than death!
But being able to speak publicly is one of the most effective and most efficient ways to recruit new Avon Representatives.
Craft up a good speech. Practice it until you are comfortable. Make sure your speech is not a big sales pitch. Instead, focus on providing value and showcasing your talents. Offer information that is helpful to your audience.
You can talk about a particular subject that is related to beauty, skincare, how to be successful with…. You can even do a short blurb at the end of your speech that lets people in the audience know what you do for a living.
Collect everyone’s contact information at the event, and then do a good job with your follow-up.
Look for local civic groups and organizations. Many of them are always looking for speakers for upcoming events.
These are just a few ideas about how to recruit more people into your Avon business. We’ll cover many more in the upcoming posts on this blog.
