The Avon Leadership program is a very lucrative way to earn an extra income.

Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.

There are only 4 main steps:

  1. Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
  2. Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
  3. Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
  4. Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order

And then Rinse and Repeat.

It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.

Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.

Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.

Today We’ll Talk About Recruiting New Team Members

The Avon Leadership program can become a very lucrative residual earning opportunity for you in your Avon business.

As a leadership representative, you are not only going to be putting more money in your pocket but you will also be opening the door for more opportunity for yourself & for your downline representatives.

When you start building an Avon team, you are creating a business that can potentially bring you an income even when you may not be able to actively work your business as much.

When you begin building a team, you open up a whole new earnings avenue from Avon.

Now, not only will you make commission on your sales, but you will also earn a commission based on your team members’ sales.

This is the residual income you hear so much about.

I have team members that I signed up way back in 2002.  They are still on my team, and still contributing to those team sales.

And I continue to earn an income based on their sales all these years later, even though I recruited them years ago.

Sure, I train and mentor them, but I only had to recruit them once.

And once I’ve gotten them started in their business, the bulk of the training and mentoring are now done in emails, Facebook Groups, and an occasional call or text.

That’s the power of residual income!

It’s not going to be easy.

As a Leadership Representative, you’re dealing with lots of different types of people.

But it is so worth it!

This can lead to a nice residual income opportunity for you!

But I’m New!  Is it too Soon to Recruit Avon Reps and Sign up Avon Team Members?

It’s always a good time to begin recruiting and building your team!

And if you’re new, that’s totally okay.  We’re here to help you.

The quicker and sooner you start building your team, the quicker and sooner you will start earning that residual income.

Avon has so many training resources available to new representatives, and we’re here to support you at OnlineBeautyBiz, so don’t worry about having to “know everything” before you start recruiting.

The great thing about our business is you can earn while you learn.

And, as long as you are just one step ahead of your new team member, you already have something to teach them.

You signed up already, so you know how to help them sign up.

You might have placed at least one order, so you know how to help them place an order.

As you learn new things, you can teach them to your new team member too.  You can learn together.

How to Sign Up A New Representative on your Team

Once you have your Online Store setup, you are ready to start sharing with new potential Representatives.

Important:  It takes 24 hours after you setup your Avon Online Store before the Avon Opportunity will be correctly linked to you.

Just take them to your Online Store – and then click on Become a Representative.

Once your website is set up properly, you’re good to go. Just send your prospect to your website –

Mine is Replace lynnhuber with whatever yours is.

It’s easy to help them enroll as a Representative on your team

If you have them on the phone, it’s even better for you to say, “If you’re ready, I can get you signed up right now.

Then while they’re on the phone with you, YOU go to Your Avon Website and then you click on Become a Rep, and you get them signed up – just like a Customer Service Representative.

If you do it for them, you know it will be done now.  You never know what’s going to happen between them telling you they are going to go sign up and when they actually do.

If you have any problems, there is a chat function on the website where you can chat with Avon Customer Service. Or you can call Avon Leadership at 800-468-4600.

You can even 3-way your new potential representative into the Leadership phone number, and a Customer Service Representative will help you get them signed up.

Congratulations on adding a new team member to your team!

You’re doing a great job and are on your way to building a strong Avon business!

Now plug them into the getting started training on this website to help them get off to a great start.

You might also consider sending them a Welcome Kit to help them get started. In fact, I strongly suggest it. This gets them going right away, so they don’t have to wait for their starter kit to come from Avon.

And then you’ll want to plug them into your getting started series of emails to get them off to a great start.  Here are the ones I created.  You can use them as is or modify them to meet your needs.

Remember, you will earn $20 for each Qualified New Recruit.  A Qualified New Recruit is someone who places and pays for a $150+ order in their first or second campaign.

You will also want to help them maximize their Pathway to Premier Incentive that’s available to all new Representatives.

A new Avon Representative has the ability to earn over $3,000 in their first 8 campaigns!

What a powerful opportunity you have to offer them!

If you can help them do this, your new team member will be off to a great start!

Great!  But How Do I Find These New Recruits?

The key to growing your business is TTMP – talk to more people!

You’ve got to be engaging new people each and every day.

Make it a way of life.

Look for any chance you can find to meet people and make new friends.

These won’t be friends necessarily that you’ll be at their birthday party this year, but a friend where you know and like each other even if just sparingly.

Start with a compliment. Be friendly, be interested, be someone they were glad to meet and become acquainted with.

Add them to your Facebook friend list. Comment on their posts and make them feel awesome.

You may or may not expose them to your product or business the very day you meet them.

You certainly may if the timing is right and you used an opening line like “Do you keep your income options open to side business gigs if the money is exciting enough?

People do business with, or join people in business with, people they know, like and trust.

So, are you giving people enough time and attention for them to get to know you, like you, and trust you FIRST?

They need to hear your short story first.

They also need to hear you and feel that you have their interests in mind.

They need to feel confident that you are someone to be trusted.

So, you must have some conversation with them to plant some trust deposits into their account with you.

Be genuine and transparent, and be vulnerable.

Show them how you had some issues that needed a solution (whether about your product or your opportunity for income).

Explain how you felt skeptical about finding a solution, but that your research and through some friends you found what you needed… and oh man, you’re so glad that you did!!

Or just tell them how Avon has been a benefit to your life!

Whatever your Avon story is, that’s what you should talk about.

You are a FARMER.

You are planting seeds every day, and cultivating the entire field every day. Making sure the seeds are all getting enough water and sunshine.

The harvest WILL come, trust in that.

Not every seed will germinate and become a plant with fruit, but many will.

So, you keep happily planting, keep cultivating even when you might be getting baffled that the plant hasn’t popped up through the soil YET.

Just keep being the friendly farmer that makes everyone smile.

That’s how you become a great networker and build a great Avon team.

Plug Them Into Your System

Once you’ve talked to someone and they are interested in learning more, you will need to follow-up with them.

Now is the time to plug them into your prospecting system.

When you add prospects into your system, it’s no longer about your “head games.”

No longer do you have to play in your head, “Is it too early to contact them?

Instead you can look at what the next follow-up is, do it, and move on to the next.  Easy-peazy!

Another important thing to keep in mind.

Once they are on your system, you do the system tasks and let it go.

Let the system do its job, and you don’t need to worry about if they’re going to join you.

They will join when they are ready.

In the meantime, you continue to talk to more people, farm, and add people to your list.
