Support Your CEO Mindset With Other Helpful CEO Superstars
In the last two posts, we’ve been talking about creating a CEO Mindset for your Avon business.
In the first post, we talked about Creating a CEO Mindset In Your Avon Business.
And in the second post, we talked about What’s Stopping You From Having A Vision-Driven CEO Mindset?
When it comes down to it, there’s no better support for your CEO Mindset than someone else who understands what you’re trying to do and can help you.
Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following-up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.
We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.
The Daily 8 system is a proven formula
When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.
Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.
Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.
The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!
It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About Surrounding Yourself With Other Supportive CEO Superstars
While creating your CEO Mindset and overcoming your fears are a great way to help you build your CEO Mindset and have a successful Avon business, it can also be SO important to actually talk about your fears with others who get it.
Because the fears that plague CEOs can be very different than what the average person faces (even another small business owner who is not yet scaling or growing), it’s important that you find a confidante or a mastermind group or group of peers.
You need people around you who understand what you’re feeling and going through!
These are also the people who will be supportive of your efforts; who will be your cheerleaders when you reach a milestone; and who are willing to share their strategies of what worked for them to reach their goals or to conquer their fears.
These people are the go-getters who have already conquered some fears and who will serve as mentors to you.
When It Comes To Your CEO Mindset, It Matters Who You Spend Your Time With
Have you noticed over the years that the people who surround you often affect your decisions and your motivation?
Think about it: Do you have family members or a spouse who are not supportive of your CEO dreams?
How does that make you feel? Are you still driven to make those dreams a reality?
Now let’s add in a mastermind group or a peer group of other like-minded CEOs.
This group of successful people who are steps above where you want to be will inspire you to take more action steps.
They can help you figure out your next steps.
With this type of leadership, you will feel motivated to accomplish your goals and show those naysayers that you ARE capable of those accomplishments.
Energy is contagious so surround yourself with those who strive for similar success paths.
Here Are Some Ideas to Explore to Support Your CEO Mindset:
- Find a therapist. One who owns their own practice might be able to provide feedback or they can assist you in getting past your more difficult fears.
- Join a paid mastermind group. Find these on Facebook in entrepreneur groups or Instagram through hashtags. Mastermind participants often say there’s a lot of value in simply sharing their fears out loud–especially with other people who actually understand.
- Create your own group by tapping into your current network and asking who needs this kind of accountability and feedback, specifically around being a CEO.
- Local chambers of commerce offer networking opportunities for small business owners.
- Facebook groups that are just for CEOs (Or even other Successful Direct Sellers) who are scaling or growing their businesses.
Many of these options require an investment, such as mastermind groups. Depending on the level of expertise in the group, you can find them for $10K or more.
Do your research and be sure that you’ll receive the support you require from whichever groups have caught your eye.
Very often the price tag will disqualify those who aren’t willing to do the work.
Anybody who can spend $10k or more on mastermind coaching is a serious player, who should motivate you to take action.
If the idea of spending that kind of money intimidates you, look for a less expensive option and save the mastermind idea for another time.
Don’t Have That Kind of Money?
I totally understand. Most of us don’t have $10K waiting around so we can join a Mastermind Group.
But look around. There are others out there that are not as expensive.
Your local Chamber of Commerce is a great place to look.
Check to see if a therapist is covered under your health insurance.
There are many Avon Facebook Groups with quality Avon Representatives in them that are geared towards supporting your Avon business.
Be careful though. There are also many people in these groups who just want to whine and complain. Don’t let yourself get sucked into that.
Look for other Avon Representatives who are looking to create that CEO Mindset and create a Facebook Accountability group just for you and them.
Finding outside support specifically for CEOs or others with a CEO Mindset will also help you stay accountable.
For those just embracing this CEO idea, knowing you have to report your progress every week forces you to take your action steps seriously.
If you know you’ll get called out for sloppy work or for not taking more action, you’ll be more inclined to take the steps you know you need to so that you can have that successful Avon business.
You might also prefer finding an accountability partner for daily check-ins to keep you on track.
Keep Working on Those Fears That Hold You Back From Having a CEO Mindset
The ideas of surrounding yourself with like-minded, successful people AND working to conquer your fears can work hand in hand.
Personal growth and development never cease.
At every level of business you attain, new fears will arise, so you’ll want to keep this process handy.
As you get to know some of Avon’s Top Representatives, you’ll find they also have fears and obstacles they have to overcome.
No matter what level of success you reach, you’ll stop moving forward if you allow those “next level” fears to take over.
This process will help you name and claim each fear, see each fear more objectively, and figure out what tiny actions you can take.
Focus your tiny actions on the most impactful and timely fears.
Once you conquer the first one, working on the next fear won’t seem as difficult.
Over time, you’ll notice you’re able to do this more quickly and easily and take those “right next actions” faster and faster.
This also means you’ll start to see the results you want to see in your business–whether that’s the next sales title, a superstar team, or a higher bank balance – faster, too.
Every single step we’ve talked about will help you cultivate a steady CEO mindset and allow you to continue to expand into your next level, deal with whatever fears come up there, and keep building your business.
