What Did You Do Today To Move Forward In Your Avon Business?

Do you want to be hugely successful in your Avon business? Do you want to create the kind of wealth that will enable you to be, do, and have everything you want in your life?

What did you do today to move your business forward?  The most important thing you can do to move your Avon business forward is to be consistent. And sometimes this can also be the hardest.

Sometimes it’s easy to get discouraged when you do something 3 or 4 times and see no results. But now is not the time to give up! The fifth or sixth time might be the magic number to achieve the results you want.

A perfect example of that is placing brochures door to door. As I mentioned in my previous post about this topic, it is obviously better to talk to everyone and get a phone number, but sometimes that’s not possible.

If you are going to leave brochures on the doorstep, you need to be consistent! If you’ve placed brochures at the same houses 3 times and gotten NOTHING (not even 1 call) from it, then move on. This method may not work in that neighborhood, or maybe another Avon Representative is already working the area.

But if you get 1-2 calls each time, then you MUST continue to place your brochures at the same houses for 6 times. Too many times I’ve seen people work a neighborhood and give up after three times because they’ve only gotten 3-4 calls.

But the reality is that you’ll get most of your calls on the fifth and sixth time. If you give up before allowing the system to work, you might as well throw your brochures away.

Another example of being consistent is to do something to move your business forward EVERY DAY. At the end of each day, look back and ask yourself, “What did I do today for my business?”

How are you going to answer that question? Will the answer be that you prospected one hour today? Maybe you got three names and numbers as you went about your day?  Maybe you did three follow-up calls?

The real key is to keep your business “top of mind.” Even if you don’t have time to work your business today, I bet you could at least carry brochures in your purse and make it a point to give out three (and get their contact information) as you go about your day.

How much difference do you think it would make to your business if you just made sure you didn’t go home until those three brochures were given out?
