Where To Find Customers And Prospects For Your Avon Business

Where To Find New Customers And Team Members For Your Avon Business

There are so many people out there who are looking for a business just like you have.

After all, what other company besides Avon offers so much for such a small start-up cost?

The difficult part is none of them is wearing a sign on their forehead saying, “Ask Me to Join Your Business”.  The only way to know is to talk with them.

The first key is to create a prospect list – of everybody you know. This should be a living, breathing list that you carry with you and update and work with daily. Add more names to your list every day.  Look for ways to find more people to talk to.

Here are some ideas:

Anyone who has purchased from you before is a good prospect.  If they have bought from you before, they are more likely to buy from you again, and you already know they like your product.

Sometimes the best prospects come from your current customers.  Avon customers are loyal and you know they already love your products!  Work on treating all your customers as though they were new customers.  Give them special attention and they will be likely to reciprocate by giving you referrals.  Every one of your customers has friends and if you are giving them exceptional service, they are more likely to recommend you to their friends if you ask.

Go through the yellow pages in the phone book starting with the A’s.  Who do you know who is an Attorney, or a Barber, etc?  As you find new names to add to your list, your business will grow.

Talk to your current prospects.  Even though they might not have joined your Avon business yet, they may have friends who are interested.  Ask them to tell their friends about you.  One exciting outcome of this idea is that maybe when they see that their friends are interested they’ll want to join right away so they can sponsor their friends.

Be friendly with other Distributors in your area from other companies.  Exchange leads with them.  It will be a win/win for both of you.

As you go about your life, you will come into contact with many people through your clubs, civic meetings or other events.  Be sure to tell everyone about your business and that you would be happy to help them get involved too.

Do anything and everything possible to find new prospects.  Attend trade shows, fairs, use flyers and lead boxes.  Follow up with every prospect because you never know where that could lead you in your business.

Social Media – Use Avon Social to post on your social media accounts.  Be sure to to use the following ratio – 80% personal / 20% business.  Let people know who you are, build relationships, and then ask them to look at your business.

Use your imagination.  Find new ways to get your business out there online and in person.  There are so many ways to share your business.  Keep your eyes and your mind open and don’t be afraid to try new things to see if they’ll work.

The more names you have on your list, and the more of those you contact, the more your business will grow.

It doesn’t even matter if they say yes or no. It’s more about being consistent and talking to more people. It’s really that simple.

<—— Did this article help you? If so, it would mean a lot to me if you would share it with others!!! And, share your comments below!  I would LOVE to know more about you and your thoughts on this subject!

Let’s have some conversation!

    1. You can purchase receipt books at any office supply store, or make your own in Word or Excel. Or you can even take a receipt book you have and make photo copies, of like 3 to a page and use those. ?
