Wrapping Up 2021 And Creating A Business Plan For A Strong 2022
As we wrap up the last year, one of the best presents you can bestow on yourself and your Avon business is the gift of preparation and creating a business plan.
This way we can get a jump-start on 2022.
But, before we get into the planning of 2022, it’s important to actually look back at 2021.
Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.
There are only 4 main steps:
- Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
- Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
- Following up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
- Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order
And then Rinse and Repeat.
It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.
We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.
The Daily 8 system is a proven formula
When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.
Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.
Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.
Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.
The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!
It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About Wrapping Up 2021 And Creating A Business Plan For A Strong 2022
Before we get into the planning of 2022, it’s important to actually look back at 2021.
Let’s take an honest look at how you did this past year.
Metrics and statistics are important to our business, and it’s a good idea, going forward, to implement these regularly into your Avon business.
Sometimes, in our head, we think we’re working really hard, but when we go to look at the statistics, they show a different story.
And maybe we haven’t been working as hard as we thought… or at least not on the right things to grow our business.
We are all at different levels here. Some of us are brand new, and for you this can be some of the things you can think about as you’re moving into 2022.
Some of us have been selling Avon for a year or more, or maybe six months, or even three months. That’s okay.
This is a starting point to help you have the best 2022 ever!
Let’s Start by Answering the Following Questions:
How many people did I personally enroll?
How big did my team grow overall?
How many new leaders did I nurture and help to grow? This is personally sponsored, but also how many did you find on your team that you didn’t personally enroll, but you reached down and helped them anyway.
How much were my personal sales? How close was I to the next sales level? Can I reach it this coming year?
How much were my team sales? You always want to be tracking your volume. It’s important to know if it’s growing or shrinking. Then if you see a problem, you will have the opportunity to make a course correction.
How many people did I offer the Avon Opportunity or an Avon Brochure to?
How many customers did I service – both face-to-face and on your online store? Customers are the life-blood of our business. You always want to keep this number growing.
Did I go to the Avon Convention? Did you plan ahead, and did you get there? These company events are critical and are the building blocks to your success. In-person is best and you should strive for that. But virtual would be a good second choice if you really can’t get there live.
Did I Rank Advance? How many times did I rank advance? Did I set a goal of rank advancing, and did I meet my goal?
Is my team inspired by my leadership? What can I do to inspire my team and get them excited to build their Avon business?
Did I grow? Did I invest in my personal development? Did I do the training at Avon U or the new Social Media training Avon is offering? Did I read some fabulous personal development books? Did I continue to grow myself so that my business could also grow?
Did I play full out? This is the most important question. Let’s say you can honestly say you did play full out. You got up every day. You did the activities you needed to do. You gave out your Avon brochures every day… and got their contact information, and then followed up before you placed your next order. You shared the Avon Opportunity every day…
If you did all these things and didn’t grow as much as you would like, you can still consider that you had a successful 2021.
Because, as we know, there are two parts to our business – there’s us doing what we’re supposed to do, and there’s also the other person and it’s all about their timing rather than our timing.
But, as long as you’re taking the right action and doing the Income Producing Activities, your success will come. You will find the people who are looking for what you have to offer.
You just might need to give it a little time, but don’t stop or slow down.
Be Honest With Yourself
Only you can honestly answer these questions. In fact, I suggest you do a reality check by asking somebody who loves you dearly and is supporting you in your Avon business.
After writing the answers to the questions, share them with your loved one, your sponsor, your accountability partner, your best friend… whoever… and see if they agree with your answers. Sometimes we don’t see in ourselves what other people see.
Be brave. If you really want to move into 2022 powerfully, this can make a huge difference.
Give them permission to be totally honest. If they tell you something that you might not want to hear, take it in and know that this is a wonderful opportunity to move into the bigger better you because of that feedback… so thank you.
Moving Into 2022
To be really successful in your Avon business, here are the things that we need to get really good at:
We Have to Get Good at Inviting.
That’s the truth! We just have to get good at this. So if you’re like, “I don’t know how to talk to people.” “I don’t know where to find people.” I don’t have anyone to talk to.” That’s an area you really are going to have to get good at to be successful in your business.
If you are struggling with this, it’s really just a story in your head. There are millions of people who haven’t seen an Avon brochure in ages, or who haven’t actually taken a look at the Avon opportunity. There are enough people for every single one of us to talk to every single day.
If this is your struggle, search this blog about ways to find people and what to say to them. There are lots of articles in this blog. Or do a Google Search. Or contact your upline for support. This is a story you need to let go of if you are going to be successful.
As we’re getting great at inviting, it’s important to understand that your list is a big part of this. Are you constantly building your list? When someone comes into your mind, do you write them down right away?
While you’re in the grocery store and you run into someone fabulous and you chitchat, do you get their contact information? Click here to get the Drawing Forms that I use.
Or, how about this? Can you be brave enough to say, “Hey, Let’s add each other on Facebook so we can stay connected?”
Building your list is a never-ending process. No matter how far you promote up the ranks of Avon, you will always need to be building your list.
People come and go in our business, and it’s important that you continue to build and grow.
We Have to Get Good at Presenting the Avon Opportunity.
Get good at storytelling. People like to hear stories, and stories can be very powerful. Why did you join Avon, and what is Avon doing for you? Get really clear on what your story is and learn to tell it in a compelling way.
Ask questions to get them talking and let them tell you how to recruit them.
As we’re moving into a new year, this is the best time to ask a question that will allow people to tell you exactly what’s going on in their life and how you can help them.
This question is something you can ask everyone you chat with between now and even into the beginning of the New Year. Whether it is at an office party, a cocktail party, a gathering with friends… this question is magical…
“Hey, tell me… how did 2021 turn out for you? Did you reach everything that you said you wanted to achieve? What did you say you wanted to accomplish in 2021?”
That could be the start of the conversation. Or even “I’m curious… what did you have as your New Years Resolution for 2021, and were you able to achieve that?”
Boom! You will open the floodgates for people to tell you all about what they did or did not accomplish in 2021. And you can have an amazing conversation with every person you come into contact with.
Some will be totally the perfect people to talk to about your business, and for others, it might not be right for them. But don’t miss the opportunity to find out for each person you talk to.
Can you imagine if you just had that simple conversation with everyone that you had the chance to chat with?
Instead of saying, “Hey, I’ve got this great business I want to show you.” Or “Hey, would you like to try my products?” What if you asked them this question, and let them reveal their hearts to you and let them reveal where they are in life and where they want to go in 2022.
Now you know everything that’s important to them.
And from there, you can offer them a chance to take a look at what you’ve got as a solution to help them move into 2022 with the things they’ve shared with you that’s important.
We Have to Get Good at Enrolling Them into the Business.
You want to get good at helping move people into making the decision as to whether they’re ready to join you or not.
If at all possible, don’t just give them a link to your website and tell them to go and sign-up.
Instead, if you have the opportunity, it’s better to say, “Let me help you. We can get you signed up in just a few minutes.” You go to your website, click on Become a Representative, and then you sign them up.
A lot can happen between you giving them the link and them actually getting signed up as an Avon Representative.
Wherever possible, take charge and make sure it happens.
We Have to Get Good at Following-up.
Seriously… if I had a penny for every time someone told me, “I’m just not good at following-up,” I would be a billionaire right now!
Make follow-up a non-negotiable part of every single day. This is one of the most important activities you can perform. That’s because how well you follow-up, will determine the level of your success.
Here are some blog posts that talk about following up. Be sure to read them, and really hone your follow-up skills. I promise, that will make all the difference to your business!
Implement our Automated System into your business. Seriously, it will make all the difference!
These Skills Are Crucial to the Success of Your Avon Business
These are all simple, basic skills, but every one of them is crucial to the success of your Avon business.
Add to these skills, learn some basic knowledge of the Avon products, and you have a recipe for real success.
Sit for 20-30 minutes and journal this out for yourself, so you move into the New Year knowing exactly what you want to accomplish.
Revisit Your Reasons for Joining Avon
Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the passion and we forget the reasons we joined.
Like, maybe you joined Avon so you could be with your family more and now you’re spending too much time working and not spending the time you want with your family.
Or maybe you joined because you wanted to build a big business. You went out and talked to a handful of people and you didn’t have the success you wanted, and so you started creating a story in your head around “this is too hard,” and “I don’t know if I’m meant for this.”
Or there could be many other scenarios that apply to you.
This is where you can revise your reasons, and look at what you’ve accomplished and what you haven’t, and make the course corrections necessary for your best year ever in 2022.
Here are some things you can write down as you’re doing your journaling.
Really think about it. Be intentional about it.
Don’t just hope that your volume is going to grow or that you’ll reach a rank.
It’s important to be specific and know exactly what you’re working towards.
Write down your declarations of what you will be accomplishing in 2022.
You can use these, adjust as necessary, or add more as needed.
I invite ___ people a day.
I enroll ___ people each month.
I have ___ new customers each month.
I build ___ Leaders. It’s more than just bringing people into Avon and then bringing more in. It’s actually really about working and nurturing and loving on the people who join your Avon team and helping them develop into their best leader. How many leaders do you want to be responsible for having their breakthrough?
I bring ___ team members to RepFest. There’s nothing more important than showing up with as many people on your team as possible. The more Reps you can get to attend RepFest, the faster your business will grow.
I attend the Leadership Retreat. This is a rank award trip, for Gold Leaders and above. Do you plan to be there? Maybe right now you’re so new and that seems so far away. But when you write it down and declare it, it is much more likely to happen.
My team grows by ___ people/percentage each month. What’s the percentage of growth you want to see happen every month.
I receive ___ Award. What kind of awards do you want to receive this year? President’s Club? Honor Society? President’s Council? Write it down and declare it.
I am ___ Rank. What rank are you going to be as your wrap up 2022?
Track Your Activities and Results
Once you’re done journaling, create a spreadsheet, or tracking sheet so you can track these numbers for each campaign – and then get busy working to see if you can increase those numbers every campaign!
Know where you stand every campaign so you and change course and adjust as necessary.
At the end of 2022, you get to go back and look at the notes you took and see what you’ve accomplished.
And if you follow this plan, it will be so exciting to see how far you’ve come!
