You Are Meant For More!

You Are Meant For More!

You Are Meant For More!

You were never meant to be ordinary.  That is not why you are here and that is why life can feel so painful at times.  You were meant for more!

Maybe you’ve felt conflicted between what you think you should be doing and what you know you are called to do.

Have you ever felt like you’re stuck in a rut despite trying your best to find your way out?

You’re not alone.

Most of us yearn for something bigger and better in our lives. It’s part of being human.

Growing your Avon business is pretty simple.

There are only 4 main steps:

  1. Prospecting for new customers & recruits.
  2. Getting a brochure (either paper or digital) to every customer every campaign.
  3. Following up with every customer you gave a brochure to every campaign before you place your order.
  4. Take the order, submit it to Avon and deliver to your customer, or send them to your Avon Online Store to place their order

And then Rinse and Repeat.

It’s really that simple. You just do these 4 steps over and over again, and you will have a strong Avon business.

We have our Daily 8 System to help you work on the activities that will help you grow your business.

The Daily 8 system is a proven formula

When followed consistently, the Daily 8 Plan will help you maintain the consistency required to build a thriving team and an exponentially expanding residual income.

Instead of working 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, your goal is to capture 8 POINTS a day, 5 days a week for a total of 40 POINTS per week.

Print this sheet and use it to track your weekly points.

Follow this plan consistently for 90-days and teach your team to do the same. At the end of 90 days, REPEAT and then REPEAT again. This is your Daily Method of operation.

The real secret to your Avon Business success is that there is NO SECRET!

It simply takes a simple plan and the dedication and commitment to WORK THE PLAN consistently! That’s it!

Today We’ll Talk About How You Are Meant for More!

Let’s start with a story written by one of my friends, Dennis.

It’s such a powerful story, and it completely fits in with how you are meant for more!

In the words of my friend, Dennis Jones.

The first time I received a letter addressed to DR Dee, I was in boarding school and was twelve years old.

Every Sunday evening during supper, our senior prefects would walk around our big dining room with a huge tray full of envelopes.

It being a first-time experience in a boarding school for most of the first-form students, we were all anxious to receive our first letters from home.

I hoped and prayed that my name was written on one of those many envelopes.

One evening as we were having our supper, the whole dining area suddenly came to a deafening silence. One of the prefects took a pile of envelopes into her hands and waited for our attention.

She then started calling out names of the recipients of each of these letters one by one.

She called out a name, waited for the student to raise his or her hand, then gave the envelope to the other prefect close to her to pass it on.

The suspense was killing me. I was not sure if anyone from home had written to me or not; It was a big deal because at that time letter writing was the only source of communication we had.

I just waited there, with my fork now stuck onto my plate, and attentively listened.

After a couple more names being called out, I then heard the shout, ‘DR Dennis Jones’.

I froze, not knowing if it was my letter or there was a doctor somewhere else in the room with the same name.

The prefect on duty gave another shout to my name, now even louder with a couple of giggles echoing from the rest of the crowd, ‘DR Dennis Jones’.

I could not let my name reverberate in that huge dining room one more time, so I quickly raised my hand in embarrassment and waited to be handed my envelope.

All my table mates cried out with laughter and that became the top news for the rest of the night.

My mother started calling me DR Dee from the time I was eleven or twelve years old.

At first, I didn’t understand her motive.

All I remember is one day watching her read a composition story that I had written in my sixth-grade class – the title read, ‘What I want to be when I grow up ‘, and thereafter that’s when the title was birthed.

The rest of the family only caught up with the nickname many years later.

After receiving my first letter, I started paying less and less attention to being called a doctor.

Each time I would ask my mother why she was addressing me as DR Dee, she would just softly tell me that I could be anything I wanted to be and I deserved the best.

I’m sure most people would agree that it’s such a cliché statement that they’ve heard too many times at some point.  I thought so too, and I took it in passively.

But subconsciously, this platitude (as some may call it), grew my mindset and changed my actions towards the vision that I had set for myself in the beginning and forgotten about… but was then reawakened by my mum.

My goals started aligning themselves towards that title.

I started working hard in class so that I could qualify to get into the science class by form three.

In retrospect, it wasn’t much to do with the title, but I just knew I had to do my best so that I’ll have the option to choose what I wanted for my profession.

Many years later, I earned that title and I’m no longer embarrassed to raise my hand when someone shouts DR Dee from across the room.

Isn’t that a Powerful Story!?

What I love most about that story is that it serves as a testimonial as to what you can achieve when you believe in yourself and your dreams.

You’re indeed meant for more. More than your limitations or disabilities.

Our minds cannot even fathom out the amount of potential that we are capable of.

How can we even comprehend how the greatest inventions came to life?

The light bulb, airplane, telephone, even a clock.

Isn’t it amazing how just one man thought it possible and made it possible!?

Imagine what you can achieve, discover, invent when you’ve explored your deepest potential.

If so many other people could envision something that had never existed before and then brought that vision to life, then know that you are capable of doing this too!

We can create and become whatever it is that we desire.

A poor girl from a ghetto neighborhood can become a multi-millionaire entrepreneur!  Look at Oprah.  She came from nothing!

You can travel from bankruptcy to growing billions and billions into your bank account.

You can go from being bedridden to becoming a healthy fitness trainer.

From being uneducated to becoming a holder of masters and doctorate degrees.

You can build that successful Avon business that you’re working on and turn your life into anything you want!

There are Avon Representatives who have done exactly that!

  • We have Representatives who have built their business so that they could stay home and be there with their kids.
  • Richard and I have actually built our Avon business to where we became debt-free and could quit our jobs.
  • And there are representatives that have done things such as bought a plane and traveled to other countries and built orphanages.
  • And there are representatives who have accomplished things anywhere in between.

How do we create that?

All this begins with having a clear vision of where you want to be and embarking on that journey to living a life that you’re meant for.

The first thing you need to do is ask yourself what it is that you want out of your life.

Create a picture in your mind of the vision of what you want out of your life.

See yourself already there at the finish line.  What does your life look like?  What will you be spending your day doing?  What will you have in your life?

Write it all down.  You can do this in a journal, or even create a vision board.  You will want to read or visualize this often as you work at developing the life you want.

And then the final step is taking that leap of faith and start taking small progressive actions towards achieving those dreams.

Get into action as quickly as possible.

Maintain the consistency to build your business or to work towards your vision.

This is where the Daily 8 System and our Automated Follow-Ups can help you.

The Daily 8 helps keep you consistent, and the Automated Follow-Ups make sure the important recurring tasks are taken care of and to free you up to build your business.

Hold that vision

Like Dennis’s mom did for him, find people in your life who see that vision with you.
